NYC Jams

SHERIFF BOB’S GOODTIME JAM

Sheriff Bob’s Goodtime Jam is every 3rd Wednesday at Zinc Bar, 82 West 3rd Street, between Thompson and Sullivan in The Village, just south of Washington Square Park. Sheriff Bob has been running jams since 1996, when he started a Bluegrass Jam at Dempsey’s. From there, the jam moved to The Baggot Inn on 3rd, then to Grizzly Pear on MacDougal, Zirzamin on Houston, Randolph Beer then Brinkley’s, both on Broome, and now at Zinc Bar, which happens to occupy the same space that the Baggot Inn once did! The Goodtime Jam welcomes string players of all levels to come and take part in the musical festivities!
